So, what’s the job?

As an Account Manager, you will deliver and support a range of campaigns from project proposal to completion. You will provide input and manage the implementation of new and existing campaigns to ensure our clients’ needs are met. You will also identify and plan communications activities, contribute to strategic plans and write and develop a range of content for internal and external audiences from press releases, infographics, animations, storyflows, articles, social media content, presentations (to name a few). You will also be responsible for spotting opportunities, coming up with ideas and supporting development of proposals.

Alongside this you will be providing support and guidance to juniors to ensure they are coached and mentored in the most effective and efficient way. Commercial and financial management is also a key area of responsibility for an Account Manager and you will take proactive steps to maximise client profitability through accurate budgeting and resourcing.

Who is the ideal candidate?

Our team is passionate about our work and we value enthusiasm, integrity and creativity. You will have previous experience in project and account management for large clients ideally within healthcare PR.  However similar account management experience from medical communications or ad agencies would be considered coupled with an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

You will have a passion for writing/telling a great story and enjoy coming up with creative ways to engage a wide variety of audiences in your client’s stories.

Collaboration is key, as is the ability to think strategically around the direction and scope of multiple projects at various stages.  You must be confident with creating budgets, use sound judgement to make critical decisions and be keen to get involved in line management.  Energy and enthusiasm is a must!
