The Role
As Senior Operations Manager, you will support the highly talented team of 50 consultants across the 3 business units and drive the performance of the business. As a natural problem solver, you will be adept at working in a fast-paced consultancy environment to support the overall growth and health of the business. Line management and people development is a key part of the role and you will have one direct report.
The Senior Operations Manager will play a critical role in operations, resource and capacity planning, project management and contract management across Evoke Incisive Health offices (London and Brussels). You will actively support the company with resourcing, staffing, vendor/contract management and general project management including scope and timelines. This position will collaborate with other operations personnel across the Evoke network, and report directly to Evoke Incisive Health’s leadership team.
You will also be responsible for working with the senior team on executing the strategic direction and the long-term vision of the company. As you grow into your role there will also be the opportunity to work with other parts of the evoke platform (e.g. evoke galliard).

Responsibilities:
- Support the financial performance of the business to meet revenue and gross margin / EBIT margin goals, by helping to optimise operations and processes
- Monitor and improve utilization rates for staff by owning the staffing and resourcing process
- Ensure there are solid work and staffing plans in place; help identify potential staffing or revenue risks, develop mitigation strategies, or staffing/resourcing challenges
- Support the finance team with management of the operating budget for the business – staying profitable through sound client management and staff utilization
- Continue with the integration of Evoke Incisive Health into the broader Evoke Group following the transition from independent ownership
- Demonstrate sharp analytical and commercial thinking about the fiscal aspects of the business and industry
- Support the key business workstreams (people, marketing, training) to ensure excellence in key initiatives (e.g. staff satisfaction survey)
- Be the point person and actively collaborate with central functions (HR, Finance, DEI, IT, Legal, Facilities etc) to ensure to smooth running of the business
- Support development of and confirm appropriate paperwork and contracts are completed for all freelance and sub-contractors
- Help to ensure MSA requirements are met by account teams for billings, CDAs, etc.
- Support the recruitment process and new starter process
- Champion our practices and procedures, and support evolution where necessary.
- Develop and enforce policies to help ensure consistency and compliance across offices
- Support the broader team with the New Business process
