We are currently looking for a SVP, Digital Strategy to join our global digital team and as the senior strategic client relationship leader across key digital and omni-channel engagements for the agency while supporting development of the overall strategic direction of the company and driving new business efforts across our European markets. The SVP Digital Strategy will serve as a member of the regional and senior management team.



Client Partnership
• Serves as strategic omnichannel lead for client engagements based on broad communications landscape and business goals; takes immediate action on client feedback
• Sought out by clients for advice / counsel, external perspective and coaching
• Serves as facilitator / moderator for digital-related client workshops and events, including omnichannel trainings, omnichannel planning sessions, channel strategy and innovation workshops, etc.
• Assesses digital strategies on an ongoing basis to ensure their strategic alignment to the clients’ business
• Proactively analyzes market trends to make timely recommendations to account teams and clients to inform strategic optimisation based on marketplace dynamics
• Partners with Global Head of Digital to assess staffing/resources regularly to effectively meet clients’ digital needs

• Contributes suggestions and feedback to the overarching company strategy/annual goals
• Drives new business growth through cultivation of new client relationships and exploration of organic business
•Continuously drives recommendations on areas to explore for new business potential or company growth
• Flawlessly executes on new business proposals and presentations

• Shows thorough understanding of current issues in domestic and global health, translating knowledge into meaningful digital counsel for internal teams and clients

• Provides direct and constructive feedback to leadership team and junior team members/direct reports, leading them in development of fundamental skill sets (analytical thinking, writing, research, logistics, etc.)
• Proactively seeks ways to identify, grow and retain top talent; provides opportunities and advocates for resources for junior staff to grow skillset in digital/social
• Responsible for oversight of staff engagement and productivity for direct reports; includes assessing hiring needs/recommendations, ongoing evaluation of staff climate, championing staff development and growth, advising on issues/course correction as necessary
•Role models company values and inspires an inclusive culture; drives diversity and inclusion objectives for the company
• Fosters a culture of collaboration, respect, and growth among account teams and greater agency

Qualifications and experience
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in communications, marketing, digital, business or health/science-related field
or equivalent experience
•Significant communications or related marketing / advocacy / digital / omnichannel / health experience; partnership; global health issues or healthcare digital strategy experience essential
• Expert in working across digital and social touchpoints and executing programs supporting corporate, branded and unbranded healthcare and lifestyle initiatives
• Demonstrated track record of winning new business and organically growing existing accounts
• Proven managerial acumen
• Excellent problem solver and negotiation skills
• Handles conflict swiftly and appropriately
• Delivers and accepts feedback across all levels of the organization
• Has earned respect (internally and externally) and has a strong leadership presence

• Working knowledge of paid social media strategies and capabilities
• In-depth experience with Netbase or similar social listening/analytics platforms
