About the Role: 

We are seeking an individual who brings a unique understanding of behavioral science. This should be someone who can turn a mountain of research into compelling insights that can change patient or provider behavior. This individual needs to understand key behavioral insights, but more importantly, have the skill and creativity to apply these insights to the strategy and execution of health communication programs. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about behavioral science and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The Senior Behavioral Strategist will help assess, plan, develop, and evaluate multi-channel health education and marketing programs and materials.  


  • Conduct literature searches and extract/synthesize information

  • Apply behavioral strategies and key learnings in a strategic way

  • Develop communication plans independently 

  • Apply past relevant experiences to new challenges 

  • Understand marketing concepts and how to apply them in the pharmaceutical context  

  • Act as a resource to both internal and external customers 

  • Adapt and change course  

  • Participate in elevated roles in agency

  • Foster client relationships and position yourself as a strategic partner  

  • Support new business efforts


  • Desire and ability to work in a flexible environment

  • Highly self-motivated and ability to be self-directed

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and work in a multidisciplinary environment

  • Ability to ask the right questions, interpret data, and ensure attention to client business goals 

  • Have 3+ years of directly applicable experience, including marketing, agency, or other relevant experience (eg, health system) 

  • Experience in applying behavioral concepts in a pharmaceutical marketing environment  

  • Have an advanced degree (master’s level or higher) in public health, health communications, psychology, or social sciences  

  • Willingness to travel (varies from 5%-20%)
