We are looking for a UX Designer with a sharp mind, a bold approach and a true passion for accessibility and user-centred design principles.
Mind+Matter is seeking a User Experience Designer. This role will work alongside the Senior UX Designer and report to the Head of Technology. The ideal candidate is a UX professional with 2+ years’ understanding data to make recommendations for the best user experience.
Work closely with the development team to ensure that designs are user centric and are technically feasible
Work closely with end clients through the lifecycle of the project building good client relationships and ensuring their needs are met
Undertaking all aspects of user / stakeholder research
Creating use cases, Sitemap, Flow diagrams, Wireframing, Prototyping, Functional specifications
Support the Senior UX Designer to facilitate client workshops to understand their needs and goals
Fluency in the user centered design process plus usability and accessibility best practices
Proven ability in undertaking UX research and formulation of project requirements
Proven ability to organize and simplify complex information structures, taxonomy and categorization of information
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of UX and front end technology trends
Constant strive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and developments
Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, in particular XD.
Exceptional organization and analytical skills
Proactive and inquisitive thinker with the ability to work and learn independently in a fast-paced environment
Desire to work cross-functionally, especially in collaborating with other teams and clients.
