We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director, Copy to join us in nurturing deeper, more meaningful engagements with our clients. While the position is working primarily for our San Francisco office, our Work Where You Work Best policy allows for you to be a fully remote worker, based anywhere! (Keep in mind that depending on your role and brand assignment, you may be required to adhere somewhat to west coast hours.)

The Associate Creative Director is the Creative Director’s right hand, which means you are officially part of Evoke Giant management and help oversee how workloads are organized and delegated. The ACD has true creative responsibility for a brand’s strategic and tactical implementation, manages talent to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and enthusiasm, and are a key contributor to new business. They are the team leader and a key creative voice vis-à-vis the client—often the most senior person to be completely dedicated to a brand.

 Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ in copywriting, specifically in healthcare advertising or marketing
  • A stellar portfolio that showcases creative development judgment, management excellence, and strategic insight (not a one-man band)
  • Confident with new media
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with a working knowledge of Keynote, PowerPoint, and PDF markups
  • Honed management and training skills
  • Able to make your passion for your work contagious
  • Highly articulate; able to explain your work authoritatively, in a concise and cogent manner
  • Thorough understanding of the principles of medical copywriting, including referencing standards and FDA guidelines
  • Proactive, assertive, and flexible team player who can thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment
  • Able and willing to travel to clients, short- and long-distance
