Description

Reporting into the Global Head of People & Culture, the VP, People & Culture will assist with the development and execution of the People & Culture strategy.  With a concerted focus on project management and delivery of initiatives, the VP, People & Culture will help lead the team towards achieving its goals.  Consistently aiming to enhance the employee experience, the VP, People & Culture will champion change, and serve as a leader in the department as it continues to evolve.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide direction and manage projects for select initiatives within the department, ensuring all details related to implementation of each project are thoroughly raised and vetted prior to implementation.
  • Oversee the seamless execution of new programs and policies across the company in a global or regional capacity in areas such as performance management, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, and employee wellness.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, development, delivery and administration of effective programs that help support the needs of our employees.
  • Drive key HR initiatives including but not limited to, succession planning, rewards & recognition, and employee communication.
  • Use data analytics, industry standards, and best practices to evaluate current HR policies/programs, propose changes, and implement them. Extract insights from data to continuously drive our high-performance culture forward.
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, and human resources.
  • Design HR policies and procedures to ensure the company remains compliant with the latest federal, state, and local laws. Provide insights to agencywide HR processes and policies, with a focus on enhancing our approach to support our growth.
  • Develop trusting relationships with peers, internal partners, and the senior leadership team across all business units by demonstrating an understanding of the business and providing valuable, strategic support.
  • Keep abreast of trends and new HR-related tools that may be beneficial to the company.
  • Supervise the day-to day management of employee operations and help optimize our systems to best assist our employees.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to identify efficiencies that create a more effective organization, and develop plans to accomplish progressive HR objectives.
  • Help to drive change within the organization to include adoption of new technologies, integration or new organization structures and workflows

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to build and navigate relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong decision-making skills and prioritization skills
  • Results oriented with the ability to creatively problem solve
  • Experience working with Success Factors or Workday a plus
  • Established expertise in multiple disciplines within Human Resources
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills; must display a balanced, objective approach and sound judgment when recommending a course of action
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Marketing & Advertising and/or Life Sciences industry highly desirable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize, handle multiple responsibilities and produce results
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
